Hello guys, all the images are at the bottom of the post. They are useful for when you’re referencing the different illustrations.

Mar 22:

Original equipment manufacturers:

AMD focuses on three types of OEMs: multinationals, regionals, and “global & local” system integrators. Large companies and regional customers are what their OEMs focus on the most. AMD wants to focus on the value-added-resellers (VARs) - which are companies that add extra features or services before selling them to small businesses and consumers.

AMD is also focused on global system integrators, which combine AMD’s hardware with their software, and sell it to:

  • Big businesses,

  • high-performance computing

  • cloud service providers

Hyperscale data centres

Large multinational public cloud service providers purchase a large amount of their data-center-focused products, like CPUs, GPU accelerators FPGAs, and adaptive SoCs. These cloud providers then operate a web-based app or AI workloads.
